FOOTMEDIX owner  Brett Reynish has been involved in the sports medicine and footwear industry for over 24 years being partner in Sydney Sports Medicine Centre in Olympic Park , Sydney, sports podiatrist at Balmain Sports Medicine Centre and Owner of Running Science specialised running shop in Rozelle , Sydney.

Now living in Dubbo, Brett now consults in DUBBO and in ORANGE.  Our Orange clinic is located within a specialist centre, Central West Specialists which has access to orthopaedic surgeons, sports doctors and pain specialists. This is a fantastic mix for sports patients who may require multi-disiplinary attention. Our Dubbo clinic is located in Dubbo's newest specialist centre in Darling street Dubbo Specialist and Rehabilitation Centre which has the only sports medicine doctor in the area.

Our clinic treats sports people of all levels and ages from toddlers to athletes in their 90's as well as general foot, ankle and knee injuries.

ASSESSMENT

We dig intpo the nitty gritty of - what you are doing

             - what level of exercise/movement you want to do

             - what injuries you have and have had in the past

             - what footwear you are using now and in the past

             - what treatment you have had for your injury.

GAIT ANALYSIS

Analyzing your gait will identifyanomolies in your movement may which may be caused by genetics, injury, leg length differences, poor technique,muscle weaknes and imbalance.

PLAN YOUR TREATMENT

Once we have a cause and diagnosis we can start to plan your treatment options which often include

             - Scans if needed

             - Footwear changes

             - Muscle exercise and strengthenng

             - Strapping options

             - Longer term solutions like soft cushioned orthotics.

FOLLOW UP

Follow up is important to measure how you are progressing and to keep that progress moving in the right direction. Some injuries are difficult and can be frustrating and drawn out if not monitored regularly
